Happy National Day!

August 9th, Singapore's Independence Day!
I wish I could be at the Marina area catching the fireworks, then again I'll be at a gathering tomorrow at Jalan Selaseh till the night. Find me!

Its as though you've kept your guard up and won't be willing to let anyone or any force penetrate it. Something similar to the issue of trust. Once you've lost your trust or someone has lost your trust, its hard to get it back. Especially if its the trust of a loved one whom you've spent many years building it up and strengthening it.

1. It takes guts to admit your mistakes. (Some of us always want to be right)
2. You have to reconcile yourself with your inner peace. (Figure out what to do)
3. Reconcile with the person whom the trust bond has broken. (You have to want it back)
4. Open up Pandora's Box. (Let everything out, speak your mind)
5. Assuming only makes you an ass out of you. (Never assume, things will go wrong)
6. Once you assume, things will spiral downwards, like a toilet that's being flushed.

I've learnt my mistakes, yet some don't. Took me many occasions to finally notice and accept my imbecility. People may think I'm arrogant and refuse to take my word for I have learnt, so be it. We'll just see who has the last laugh.

P.S. Think before you speak, type and point. It won't get you anywhere as you end up reflecting an ugly side of you. Lesson learnt, the hard way.

Goodnight vaguelythis!

- Like strong buildings, lasting friendships take a long time to build up, but just one bombshell to bring it down.
