I'm the one who my grandma is carrying in the picture. My grandpa is smiling from ear to ear in the photo. I'm very glad to grow up with grandparents and have them take care of me.

8 days have passed since the passing and its taking time for me to let go. It feels different coming home as when I walk into my room and then I pass the empty room where I no longer see my grandma taking an afternoon nap or watching the TV. The house is exceptionally still in the mid-afternoons and I can no longer eavesdrop on my grandma's loud phone call conversations.

(Sigh) I miss my Grandma, it sure feels different.
Fact is, the house feels all too different, its lost that form of coziness already.
