for your entertainment

Meet my 6 year old cousin, Marcus Liang Gill.
(I know, his name has an asian-english edge to it)

Hello world.
I'm filled with a myriad of emotions today. Angry, happy, sad, satisfied, mad, relieved. I feel neutral now, I've had enough of positive and enough of negative.

School's always the same, its the people who make my day. I have developed the habit of speaking in chinese to Zhenxiang and Varrick now. It is actually fun to converse in chinese because I am able to laugh at my own pronounciation of chinese words! It all started from "wu gui" which means, tortoise. English had to be scratched off, so we were dismissed at 1030. Initially planning to stay for an hour in school to blow up helium balloons, but we were delayed. Rounds of tap-tap with classmates and annoying every teacher we saw that walked in or out of the staff room. I love my classmates, you don't need to know them very personally, neither do you need to tell them anything. You just "click" with them. :)
Speaking of which, I owe you one.

I gave Speech Day a miss to spend my afternoon with my cousin in town. Maccers for lunch, we ate a total of 3 boxes of fries and 3 burgers! Combed 6 shopping centres in less than 5 hours, we wanted to walk down the whole stretch of Orchard Road but we kept stopping at the shops, taking up alot of time. Lots of walking, aching feet, Starbucks sugar rush and pretending to be tourists! Ion was were we got out shopping done, we blew $140 worth of clothes making both of us broke. Halfway through, I found out that my grandma could be discharged! Yes, thank god. However she's reliant on pure oxygen to aid her breathing. Now that she's home, we have not got the oxygen supply hooked up yet, I'm kinda worried for her because she can't seem to breathe properly without choking on phlegm when she's lying down. (I pray for strength given to her)

All in all, today was an alright day.
I spent my time with my cousin, my grandma's home. :) I feel blessed.
(let's put the negativity away for today)

P.S. My cousin isn't your normal cousin-stay-in-Singapore-anytime-come-over type.
I only get to see their family once every....4 or 5 years? That is, if I head to Oz or if they come down to SG. So to those people who go "Big deal, cousin only what." well, fuck you serzly. Both of us coincidentally have the same surnames, Tan. Both of us are born in April and in the same hospital, same ward! 11 days apart, both of our mothers have the same surnames and our mums look alike! I feel like we're more of siblings than cousins! :) Feels good to have a "twin-brother".

English course tomorrow, breakfast at Maccers with boyfriend!
Shucks, the Gill family is going back to Australia tomorrow.

Very wordy post today alright, I'm off to bed.
Goodnight vaguelythis!
